1) ALL State and Federal laws, rules and guidelines WILL apply as they currently appear in the manual(s).
2) All equipment provided including, but not limited to, blinds and pits are, will be, and remain the property under the ownership of Fallin’ Feathers Duck Club (FFDC) and cannot be altered, relocated, removed, transferred or otherwise replaced without written consent of Fallin’ Feathers Duck Club.
3) Each blind/pit will hold 1 person responsible for each hunt. That persons’ name and info will be on file for any questions and/or comments. This person is also responsible for reporting to FFDC the duck numbers and species that were taken for that hunt and for fees as explained herein, if any.
4) Absolutely NO baiting of any kind at the blind/pit site. If this happens the blind/pit will be off limits for the remainder of the entire season and the person(s) guilty of this offense will be responsible for paying a fee of $340.00 per booked day for the remainder of the entire season in lost revenue for that blind/pit site. No exceptions. Fallin’ Feathers Duck Club WILL notify the Arkansas Game and Fish and report this violation and the party/parties/individuals involved. While you are in the blind/pit hunting you may notice grain in the area, this is completely acceptable because it is a regular farming practice. This is not considered baiting.
5) Afternoon/evening hunts will be considered by Fallin’ Feathers Duck Club on an individual basis putting into consideration of the success of a particular group(s) morning hunt. The final decision is that of Fallin’ Feathers Duck Club.
6) Each participant is responsible for, at all times, the handling of his or her firearm and shall always be in control of and practice safe muzzle control of the firearm. If a participant is in violation and shows neglect of firearm safety/muzzle control he or she will be asked to unload the firearm, case it up and leave the blind/pit immediately.
7) All firearms MUST be in a soft or hard case any time it is in transport whether it be by land or water. All firearms will remain in the case until all participants have the hunt area set up, decoys out, jerk strings out, motion decoys out, etc.
8) Duck lanyards/waterfowl straps are required for claiming and transporting waterfowl from the blind/pit.
9) Absolutely no grasses or brush can be transported in from other parts of the landscape, whether it from another field, county or state.
10) Brushing in a blind and/or pit and the re-brushing can only be done with brush or grasses that are local to the landscape. See #3 above. Artificial grasses and brush can cause harm to local landscape and wildlife along with difficulty for the farmer and/or the land owner during normal weed killing practices.
11) Once all participants are located inside the blind or pit the firearm can be taken out of the case. The firearm must not be fully loaded until 10 minutes before shooting hours begin.
12) If the group or an individual wants to take a coffee/snack, or break of any kind, the firearm must have the shell in the barrel removed for safety since the participant cannot be in full control of the firearm.
13) For safety, the blind guide and/or the pit guide will call the shot. The guide may appoint one participant in the blind/pit to call the shot.
14) If and/or when blind guide and/or pit guide calls CEASE FIRE all participants will CEASE FIRE and stop shooting immediately. A CEASE FIRE will be called if there is an observation of a safety violation, firearm malfunction or a violation as stated in #1 above.
15) In the event of the blind/pit producing a daily limit (everyone in that particular party occupying that blind/pit) that blind/pit location is closed for the remainder of the day. All hunting shall cease at 1 o’clock pm each day at all blind/pit locations. See #5 above.
16) Before exiting the blind/pit area after each hunt the blind/pit must be free of trash, wrappers, drink containers and empty shell casings. If the participant or participants fail to abide by this rule, there will be a cleanup fee of $100 charged to the participant(s). The fee will be charged to the person that the blind/pit was assigned to for the hunt listed below. This charge is non-refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
17) Payment: When booking a blind/pit for a hunt, a deposit is required. The deposit is half the price of the total booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your booked hunt. Your failure to pay the remaining balance 14 days before your booked hunt constitutes your understanding and agreement that your reservation is cancelled by you and that the deposit will not be refunded. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Any questions regarding deposits are to be directed to Arthur Loyd, individually.
18) Cancellations: In the event that the hunting party cannot make the date, all attempts will be made to re-book the hunt. All acceptable and logical reasons for re-booking will be taken into consideration. These circumstances will be dealt with on an individual basis between the individual who booked the hunt and Fallin’ Feathers Duck Club. We will do our best to attempt to offer dates that are open for re-booking in the same season if applicable. No hunts cancelled by the party or Fallin’ Feathers Duck Club will be carried over to the next year or refunded.
By clicking "Agree to Terms " I acknowledge that I have read, reviewed and understand the above FFDC Rules and Regulations and hereby agree to follow and abide by them, as set forth above. I understand and agree that if there are any violations as stated above, I am responsible for the fees and payment of the same. (REV 03/20/2022)
